Tianjin Airlines is a subsidiary of HNA Group and currently operates a fleet of over 90 aircraft to more than 100 destinations throughout China from its eight hubs: Tianjin, Xi’an, Hohhot, Urumqi, Haikou, Sanya, Guiyang, and Dalian.
The airline is the youngest 4-star airline in the global civil aviation industry, with a network that includes China and neighboring countries. Now, though, it is expanding into new territories, beginning with the UK market.
Mr Robert Chen, UK General Manager for Tianjin Airlines, says the company hopes to “open up a still largely unexplored area of China for British travelers”.
The low-cost fares, though, come with a slight catch: the rate does not include taxes and only applies to the first two flights departing from Gatwick on 25th and 29th June. Including all taxes, the £7 promotional one-way fare will cost a total of just £206. Return fares are available from £9 plus taxes (£332 including taxes).
