Bellencita was the former home of Sir and Lady Alexander Bustamente, Jamaica's first Prime Minister. The main house has kitchen, living room, dining room, four bedrooms, three bathrooms and veranda. Set in 9 acres of beautiful mountain land featuring many trees, both ornamental and fruit, old coffee stock and lawns. In 1966 Queen Elizabeth II visited Sir Bustamente at Bellencita when she came to Jamaica on an official visit. The property enjoyed a number of high ranked
visitors and was a popular meeting place for Sir Bustamente for political and private gatherings. This beautiful, historic property would be a superb private residence for the right family and is part of a small and secluded neighbourhood with affluent Jamaicans. It is considered a well sought after enclave a short drive away from the city. Subdivision approval was granted in 2007 for nine lots.
