Due to the Botswana government initiating plans to move tourists and tourism away from the Okavango and Chobe areas, to decrease the intensity of tourists in that area, this has created new opportunities for development.
The government has allowed concessions for lodge construction as well as allowing for tourists to be flown in. These factors have provided the opportunity for the Eco Safari Lodge and Wildlife Sanctuary to be established for tourists to experience the various options made available.
