The lodge power is generated by a 12.5 kva Lister Diesel Generator, there is a brand new 15kva generator on standby plus a �back up� 5kva Generator. Water supply is by roof collection and there is approximately 126,000 litres storage capacity. Three septic tanks service the site.

There is an a la carte restaurant specializing in fish cuisine, freshly caught each day, the �Bait Box Bar �is right on the waters edge and is fully stocked with a large selection of beverages drinks to compliment your meal.

The five acre site includes a private sandy beach which is ideal for swimming, snorkeling and kayaking and the lagoon cliffs provide a natural and beautiful sheltered playground for you to enjoy and explore.

Guests can take a short walk through the beautiful tropical rainforest and up to �Ika Lahi Lookout� � a spectacular view that takes in 180 degrees of crystal clear South Pacific Ocean. The sea birds glide the cliff face and Humpback whales frolic below.. what better place to enjoy a glass of wine.

Between July and October each year Vava�u plays hosts to several hundred Humbackrn calves and if the opportunity presents you can enter the water to swim with these majestic creatures � an experience that will live with you for the rest of your days.

World class sport fishing right at your back door � just minutes from the Lagoon entrance you are fishing in 3,000 ft of water where you may encounter Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Yellow Fin Tuna, Mahimahi and a host of tough fighting reef fish like Giant Trevally and Dog tooth.

The lodge operates at the top end of the market and runs a lifestyle boutique business which only trades for six months of the year. They have all the necessary tourism and business licenses to operate a full service lodge/resort and revenue is generated from accommodation, restaurant, bar, whale swim/watching and sport fishing.
