Rudden Manor House is one of the best preserved rural Neo-classical mansions in Courland. The historical centre of the property is with a simple but classicism-style house, stables, sheds and house-houses.

The history of the Manor House begins in 1492 when the Bishop of Piltene awarded Rude of Ambott family. Over the centuries Rude owner made changes and in 1819 when the marriage of Lt Karl von Fircks married Agnese von Sacken the property came the into the possession of the Fricks family. In 1882 the baron Paul acquired from Mateuffel of Katzdanga the property and it became nationalised in 1921.

The highlight of Frick's time is a Burganlage, some of which has been preserved to this day. The mansion has completely retained the original floor plan and facade. .

The Manor House has usable area of 1,500 m2 spread over two floors. The ground floor plan is characteristic of 19th century with corridors covering their entire length from the entrance of the building to one end and up to the old toilets of the building at the other end.

On both sides of the corridor are the servant's living quarters with a massive wooden beamed ceilings alternating between the coated slabs, as well as a few rooms for storage where an impressive barrel vault was built.

The first floor is divided into two enfilades according to the Baroque tradition, in the longitudinal direction of the building built into the space of two rows are each five rooms and wide double doors.

The Manor House is set in 335,000 m2 of land located on the Rudeberg, Laidu parish. From the manor house to the east and west direction one can see very beautiful upland views. The hill slope on two sides is planted with mature lime trees, oaks, elms and ashes, with several ponds at the foot of the hill.
