The Piccolomini estate is an ancient medieval fortress, restored and converted into a luxury hotel, plunged in an unspoiled area between Chianti and Val d'Orcia.
Dating back to the year 1000 the property became the private dwelling of a noble family in the 15th century.
A long alley of cypress trees runs along the slope creating a scenic access to the manor palace located on the top of the hill where it enjoys a fantastic open and wide panorama.
The dwelling has a total surface of about 1.838 m2 divided between the Spa and the guests area which has with 20 independent units for a total of 31 bedrooms. In addition to the above surface there is also a stone farmhouse to be restored and some annexes.
The property is surrounded by more than six hectares of beautiful park where the ancient buildings stand, sheltered by the boundary stone walls. The alley connects the residential area to the ancient chapel and divides the park between the characteristic courtyard with well and the swimming pool-relax area. Out of the boundary walls a tennis court is located in discreet position.
