This 336 hectare exclusive property is a combination farm of lodging, game breeding and hunting. The farm consists of 5 portions fenced in as 1 unit which is registered in a Pty and is VAT registered. There are no road servitudes that subdivide the property.
Located in the Malaria Free Waterberg area of South Africa, near the Town of Polokwane (Pietersburg) in the Limpopo Province, is a truly well managed, well developed game and cattle breeding farm.
The original farm house is double storey newly renovated and has an extent of 160m². The house has a fitted kitchen and separate scullery, two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as the office area and a linen room. The 2nd bedroom on the first floor has a nice view over the lodge area and this house has its own sitting room.
This entertainment area is an impressive 400m² thatch roof building that consists a semi-industrial kitchen, an indoor braai, 2 fire places, open plan dining and lounge area as well as a licensed bar area and male/female guest toilets. This building has a long verandah overlooking the open bonfire BBQ area, the big swimming pool as well as the game drinking hole.
6 Luxury Chalets: 5 x chalets with an extent of 42m² each with thatch roof and l Honeymoon chalet with an extent of 54m² under thatch roof. All chalets comprise of a large single bedroom fitted with either a king-size bed made of two single beds and each chalet has its own en-suite bathroom. The chalets are fitted with Eskom electricity and air conditioning. Every chalet has paving in front of the chalet and all the chalets are connected with well-maintained pathways.
The conference room has an extent of 232m² (could seat up to 120 delegates), equipped with white boards and a modern state-of-the-art overhead projection system. This area is open plan with a bar area and large glass doors open on the sides which give good light into the facility. The conference area has two separate male/female toilet facilities.
The newly build thatch roof chapel could also sit 120 people. The entrance to the chapel is through large wooden doors and the back side of the chapel has an enormous glass brick Cross!!
The Tented Camp with six tented chalets, two ablution facilities each consisting of 2 toilets, 2 showers and 2 basins, Lapa, entertainment area, kitchen, swimming pool & Boma area in the middle with.
The second house is in its final stages of construction. This thatch roof house has 1 bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is an open plan kitchen and lounge area.
The main house is also known as the owner’s private home. This thatch roof house has 3 bedrooms (one bedroom in the loft) and 2 bathrooms. This house has air-conditioning installed and the finishing’s of the highest standards. There is also a separate thatch roof building used as a storage place.
There is a newly build large store room for animal feed. There is a carport attached for tractors & machinery.
Slaughtering room, fully equipped butchery and cold room. There are also very decent and upmarket labour rooms (8 rooms) with kitchen and ablution facilities as well as their own private boma and BBQ area.
The farm has several kilometres of roads, plus plenty of additional easy accessible game trails to explore the farm by foot.
The farm has 2.4 m high boundary fence, 21 stands are electrified fencing as well. 9 breeding camps from 38 ha to 15 ha camps. A Boma area is constructed to link all Breeding camps for management purposes.
3 Boreholes from which only one is equipped and very strong. The farm has 7 x 5000 litre water storage tanks. There is an enormous 164000 litre water storage reservoir. The farm has 2 earth dams and 4 cement dams and 1 dam near the entrance with a elevated hide. The whole area’s garden has irrigation installed with pressure pumps. The farm has a 3 hectare water concession out of the Loskop irrigation scheme.
The property has exemption for Impala, Waterbuck, Zebra, Eland, Blesbuck, Giraffe, B/W beest, Nyala, Bush Buck & Waterbuck, and they are include in the sale roaming freely on the farm.
The following game breeding species are in the breeding camps (negotiable) Black Impala, Saddle back Impala, Golden Gnu, Kings Wilde Beest, Kudu, Nyala, Eland, Oryx Golden & White Bless Buck.
This game farm is well managed and there is an excellent balance in terms of open grazing areas and the denser bush areas. This is a property where most plains game are thriving and even game breeding is doing above all expectations.
The hides and blinds on this game farm are all designed and built specifically for bow hunters and for those who “hunts with a camera”. One pit blind has enough space to accommodate a whole film crew if that is what you would like to do. View ports allow you a near 360 degree look at what is happening around your blind.
This Game Farm is relative flat with slight slope. Very well balanced and selected areas on this property were converted into the breeding areas. Mixtures of overall Sweet veld with some Sour veld make the grazing potential perfect for a greater variety of animals to roam this property.
